Titanic star Kate Winslet and director husband Sam Mendes have revealed to usmagazine.com that they have split and will divorce. They said their decision to split was both of their ideas, and everything is very amicable. The both still intend to be very active in their children's life, Joe their son who is 8 years old, Kate also has another child from a previous marriage.
Kate and Sam were married in 2003.
