Worlds Tallest Tower Closes To Visitors

The newly opened, worlds tallest skyscraper, the Burj Khalifa has unexpectedly closed its observation platform with no definite reasoning. The tower is sitting empty right now and the only part that has been opened to the public was the observation area on the half mile high building. After stating the platform closed because of unexpected high traffic, then changed to a generic reason of electrical problems, no one is really sure of the extent of the electrical problems, what all is effected, or when the building will reopen. We do know that Contractors are working on the problem.

The building was built to help bring tourism to Dubai, people have already stood in line and bought advance tickets (at about $27 each) to travel to the top. Now they are standing in line again to get a refund. The building stands about 160 stories high (yet the exact number is not known) and the observation deck is located on the 124th floor.
