With the new Smurfs 3D newly in theaters and doing really well in the box office, it is no surprise that Sony has already green flagged Smurfs 2. Sony has already set a date of August 2nd 2013 for the new movie to hit theaters. No word yet on which actors, if any, will be back for the 2nd edition.
