Tis the season to see lots of orange cones and detour signs along the road... and there is plenty going on here in the Coulee Region.
*Starting today road construction has begun on Bliss Road in LaCrosse. You may remember that the road to Grandad's Bluff has been closed since last year due to damage from flash flooding. Well starting today the large equipment has rolled in to fix things up. What this means to you.... City of LaCrosse has asked that all vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians stay off of Bliss Road. Many of the dump trucks and equipment will have to back down the hill a longs ways to turn around, and having people to dodge would just make things that much more dangerous. Citations will be issued to anyone who violates the road closure.
But exciting news, the construction should be done sometime in early November!!
