Katy Perry has been a huge success with her chart topping songs like 'I kissed a girl' and 'California gurls' and her current single called 'Teenage dream' which hit the charts at #1. However her success with album sales has not been as good. Her newest album called 'Teenage Dream' was anticipated to be a huge success, but it isn't. Even though her songs are very popular, album sales are way down.So why the bad luck? There were a couple of things working against her...her album was released too late (after California Gurls made it big) and because more people are choosing to buy their music one song at a time.
