On Saturday we were all struck by the shocking news of the passing of singer Whitney Houston. Yes she may have had her fair share of dirty laundry, it can't be denied that she was a powerful singer and a huge part of the 80's and 90's pop culture. I can remember when the movie "The Bodyguard" first came out and then when she did a cover of Dolly Partons "I Will Always Love You." I remember being torn as a fan of Dolly's to admit that I liked Whitneys version better.It's a crazy thing being on the outside looking in on the life of a celebrity, we think it's gotta be so great... but with the passing of yet another- it's getting to be more clear that it might not being as easy and glamorous as we think.
