Last night was the highly anticipated Grammy Awards... and I say highly anticiapted because they really had a great line up of performers, especially the return of Adele. Which I must say, it was great to see Adele back and she definitely delivered... she did songs, Rollin in the Deep and Someone Like You.. both fantastic, and she looks amazing too.Speaking of Adele she walked out of the there with a lot of hardware last night... taking home the Grammys for Record of the year, Album of the year, Song of the year, Pop solo performance of the year and Pop vocal album of the year.
Sure there was a lot of awards given out last night but I have to say that it is disappointing that the pop and country singers get the most recognition at these awards shows, there are so many other music genres that don't get enough acknowledgement, like for instance the rock category. Despite all that I must say congrats to the Foo Fighters for winning Rock song of the year, Rock album of the year and Rock performance of the year.
