Endeavour Launches For Final Flight

After a mechanical delay last month, today was the day that the space shuttle Endeavour took to the sky one last time. This flight is historic because after 25 flights, 116 million miles and 283 days in space- Endeavour will retire after this mission to the California Science Center in Los Angeles. There is one more flight scheduled for the space program and that is with the space shuttle Atlantis in July. After that NASA will take a 3 year break from space travel to save it's budget for bigger projects. Click here for more on the NASA shuttle launch.
