After 31 years of making music and being HUGE in the 90's, the band R.E.M. announced on their website today that they are disbanding. Unlike most bands that break up, it doesn't sound like there is any drama involved with this one. I think they think it's just time to retire. Of course R.E.M. put out some great songs like "Losing My Religion", "Shiny Happy People", and "Whats the Frequency Kenneth?".Wednesday, September 21, 2011
