When it comes to tattoos I'm all for them, however if your getting one with text involved... best make sure the tattoo artist spells it correctly. For Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins, he learned that the hard way after winning the Stanley Cup. After the win a few players got tattooed right there in the changing room, it wasn't until afterwards that someone noticed that "champions" was misspelled as "champians". He says he had the artist fix it right away and everything is now correct.
But to me if you look close, it looks like it says "Starley Cup Chanpions" Just saying, I'd think I wait and get the ink done in a studio not the locker room.

He's Baaaaack!

Well you may have guessed that we would hear from him again now that the football season is underway.. and yes it's true- Brett Favre is back. But in no way associated with being a quarterback or even being an active player. Instead he is coming out to be a college football announcer. Coming up on October 1st, Favre will take a seat in the announcers booth to help call the shots of the Southern Mississippi game. Favre says he's not saying he's going to make a career out of announcing but wants to support Miss and he hopes the fans like it.

R.E.M. Announces They Are Done

After 31 years of making music and being HUGE in the 90's, the band R.E.M. announced on their website today that they are disbanding. Unlike most bands that break up, it doesn't sound like there is any drama involved with this one. I think they think it's just time to retire. Of course R.E.M. put out some great songs like "Losing My Religion", "Shiny Happy People", and "Whats the Frequency Kenneth?".

Hey everybody! Yes I still work here... haha :) I just got back from a wonderful week long vacation. First off big thanks to Chris for filling in for me while I was out.

I spent a huge part of my vacay time in Tomahawk Wi, for the Fall Motorcycle Rally. We took the Harley and braved the cold and rain to enjoy the northwoods. While in Tomahawk we took in a couple of awesome concerts including Oil Can Harry, who you will have to see during Oktoberfest. Otherwise it was a long weekend of riding, grilling, bon fires and good friends. But like all vacations, it went by too fast and yet I'm happy to be back to work :)

Reese Witherspoon Hit By Car

Yesterday while running in Santa Monica, actress Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car while she was going through a crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle was an 84 year old woman who claims she didn't see her because of a tree. Reese suffered a gash to her head but nothing major and is recovering at her home in L.A. Hot New Shows Coming Soon!!

As you can probably image, I don't get much time to watch TV but there is a few shows that I HAVE to watch... and lucky for me both have a new season starting soon. Coming up on Tuesday Sept 6 on FX is season 4 of Sons of Anarchy ... I am really curious how they are going to pick up the story line, but if it's anything like the last 3 seasons... it's gonna rock!

The other show that I HAVE to watch is NCIS... it is safe for you to assume that Abby is my favorite!!! Season 9 starts up on Tuesday September 20th on CBS, and for those keeping track season 8 just came out on DVD.
