They had about 40 friends and family members in attendance. The couple became close following Twains divorce from her long time first husband, producer Mutt Lange. Frederic was married to the woman who Mutt cheated on Shania with. It sounds like a strange version of WifeSwap, but Shania went about her private life with a lot of class and respect.
The New Years Day wedding gave Shania the title of being the first Country Music star to marry in 2011.
