Since 2006 this Minnesota mom has been in and out of court trials trying to sort out what her punishment should be for illegally downloading and sharing 24 songs off the Internet. Jammie Thomas-Rasset just found out that a jury determined that she should pay $1.5 million to Capital Records... that comes out to $62,500 per song! I think enough is enough... there are alot more dangerous criminals out there to worry about. This woman is a Midwestern mom of 4 kids.... Like any of us she doesn't have a million dollars laying around, maybe she was wrong at the time for the songs.... but 4 years of sitting in a court room I think makes it about even.
