The latest on the Courtney Love upset with Guitar Hero 5. As last reported the widow the Kurt Cobain was mad that Activision used Cobains likeness without her permission. Now we learn the truth behind her anger... In the new game a player can pick their character to sing along with all the songs. Love is mad that a player can become Cobain where he is forced to "lip sync" to other bands songs... and most disturbing Kurt Cobain has to sing Bon Jovi songs. Apparently Love and her lawyers are offended to see the image of Cobain singing Bon Jovi tunes and ask that fans of Cobain "strongly voice their sentiments to Activision and demand his image not be debased by sing the songs of Bon Jovi". As petty as it seems, as a Nirvana fan I would have to agree, no way would Kurt Cobain sell out to be imaged as singing main stream.
