There's just something about a fairytale wedding... Kate got her Prince. While they respected alot of traditions Will and Kate did do something new. They are the first newly married couple to kiss twice on the balcony. Perhaps it was because their first kiss was so quick that alot of people missed it, but regardless they did something new.

We may have seen this coming but it is still exciting... This morning on the Today Show- Kate Hudson announced that she is engaged. She has been dating Matthew Bellamy, the frontman from the band Muse. Matthew is also the daddy to the baby that is growing in Kate's cute baby bump. Of course she's sporting a huge diamond ring- but being she's only been engaged for a week (which none of the photogs noticed) no wedding date is set yet.

Katie Holmes Wins Cover Story Apology

The lawsuit between actress Katie Holmes and the tabloid Star Magazine has finally come to an end with a satisfied Holmes. Katie started a $50 million lawsuit against Star for running a story that implied that she was a drug addict. To make things even Star magazine posted an apology to Katie on the cover and in an article inside their magazine and are going to make a large donation to a charity in Katie Holmes name.

Car Show Brings A 'Manly' Beetle And New Hybrids

The car show is going on in New York and they have plenty of shiny new vehicles to show off. Probably the one car that's getting the most hype... the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. Re-shaped just a bit for a tougher 'manly' look.
Carroll Shelby and Ford are proud to unveil their new hot rod... the 2012 Shelby GT500 Super Snake.
From production hot rod to concept car- Mercedes Benz revealed their latest project the Concept A-Class... a car that can cost aprox $5 million to produce. Mercedes Benz did the unthinkable and created 2 of these vehicles so they could show them off at the New York and Shanghai Auto Shows.

Abdul To Team Up With Cowell Again

Well even though FOX won't confirm it yet due to contract negotiations, Simon Cowell has come forward to announce the judges for his new show The X-Factor. He is teaming up with Paula Abdul again after many seasons together on American Idol. Despite the way they argue Cowell really likes Adbul- in fact I dare say he gushed over her in a interview with US Weekly. He also announced that Cheryl Cole a singer from Britain and LA Reid the former chairman of Def Jam Records will also be at the judging table.

After working for 84 years, 102 year old Sally Gordon is deciding to call it quits and retire. Working as the Sergeant-at-arms for the Nebraska State legislature Gordon is ready to calm things down.. BUT says if something comes up that she wants to do... well she's going to do it- because she loves to work.

Oil Workers Fall Ill

The BP oil spill happened about a year ago in the Gulf Coast, and while apparently alot of progress has been made in the clean up- now another problem is coming to the surface. Workers who have helped with the clean up are getting sick. Some of these people have been sick for months, suffering from vomiting, sore throats, ear infections, memory loss and rapid heartbeat. While they were told the chemicals used to clean up the oil was no more harmful that dish soap- the sick workers are thinking something else.

Catherine Zeta Jones Checks Into Hospital

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has checked herself into Silver Hill Hospital to get treatment for bipolar disorder. She says it was brought on by stress from dealing with her husbands, Michael Douglas, recent bout with throat cancer. He rep says that she is doing well and will be starting work on two new films later this week.

Oprah Says Goodbye With A High Price Tag

As talk show host Oprah gets ready for her final show on local TV, Advertisers get ready to open their wallets. The price tag is already set for companies to advertise on the May 25th finale show, they have to shell out $1 million per 30 second ad!! And even though this is a huge price it's not the biggest paid for show finale advertising. Other popular shows like Lost, Seinfeld, and Cheers fetched high prices but the biggest.... Friends finale with a $2 million per 30 second ad price!

NASCAR's Trevor Bayne Hospitalized

NASCAR driver Trevor Bayne was admitted to the hospital shortly after completing the Sprint Cup race in Texas on Saturday. The Daytona 500 winner hadn't been feeling well for a good portion of the week. On Friday he even visited the infield care center at Texas Motor Speedway where they gave him antibiotics. Apparently Trevor was having an allergic reaction to a bug bite. He tweeted that he wasn't sure if it was a spider bite or a tick bite, but was in the hospital. Russell Brand is the leading guy in two successful movies that are in the theaters right now. His movie "Hop" is number one in the box office for two weekends in a row. Brands' other movie "Arthur" is doing good as well, it's hanging on to the number 2 spot in the box office. So good things happening for Russell Brand right now. To show just how successful Hop is, in just 10 days the movie has made $68.2 million!

Last nights ACM Awards brought many firsts... Rihanna teamed up to duet with Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland to sing one of Rihanna's songs called California King Bed. This duo did not fair well in the fans eyes, Jennifer is such a strong performer with a great stage presence shadowed over Rihanna... this may not have looked so bad if the couple were singing a Sugarland song. But the huge surprise of the night was Carrie Underwood teaming up with Aerosmith superstar Steven Tyler- they rocked out to 'Un-do it' and 'Walk This Way'. Their performance stole the show. Best And Worst Dresses At ACM Awards

Some stars nailed it and some brought the crazy and tacky with them this weekend to the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. Reba rocked the red carpet in the red dress shown above. Nicole Kidman and hubby Keith Urban looked nice as usual but I thought Nicole looked a bit like a robot. And one of my ultimate favs Miranda Lambert wore a low cut white dress- as I mentioned I love Miranda, but I didn't love her dress. Sunday night Lady Gaga celebrated her 25 birthday with a HUGE party. And as you know if the world of celebs if there's a party, there's someone there to crash it. At Gaga's party it just happened to be a very intoxicated Adam Lambert. According to Perez Hilton, Lambert showed up drunk... really really drunk and was just jumping on tables and chairs and even tried to smoosh birthday cake in Gaga's face.
