This morning on Good Morning America they annouced the cast of the latest season of Dancing With The Stars. Now I normally don't watch this show either BUT.... after hearing who's gonna be on it, I will probably just have to watch. Some of the bigger names that are exciting to have on board.. Jaleel White- remember he played Steve Urkle on Family Matters. Singers Gavin Degraw and Gladys Knight will also take part. Now the reason why I will watch... Donald Driver from the Green Bay Packers will be dancing!!!! I am super excited, I think he will do well.

Rihanna and Chris Brown To Perform Together?

They definitely have some history together- Chris Brown and Rihanna do. They dated for a while and then Chris got in trouble for being physically abusive to Rihanna. There were court dates, restraining orders and lots of public drama involved. But what is this? Rihanna and Chris may be joining forces and performing together?? An insider at American Idol told E! that if the two reunite it will be on stage of American Idol to perform their duet 'Turn up the Music' from Chris' latest album.
American Idol is yet another show that I don't watch but I would be tempted to tune in to see them together again.

Avril To Join X-Factor?

With Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger leaving the X-Factor, Simon Cowell is still looking for replacements. Rumors are that he's been talking to Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, Britney Spears and even Whitney Houston before her passing. Now the latest rumor is that they are talking to Avril Lavigne!!
I have never watched the X-Factor, nor have I had any interest too... But I have to admit that is Britney or Avril sign on, I just may have to tune in.

With Paula Abdul out of the picture, Simon Cowell is working to fill a spot at the X-Factor judges table, and who has he been talking to now... Britney Spears!!!!
I have to admit that I have never watched the X-Factor, nor have I had any interest to, BUT... if Britney were to be on the show, I just might have to tune in. I'm thinking thats what Simon is thinking too.... people will watch because of her.

Adele Breaks Even More Records

Good things just keep coming for Adele... not only did she clean up at the Grammy Awards, recovered from her surgery and become one of the most popular artists, but she also continues to break some major records.
Since the Grammy Awards so many people went out and bought Adeles new album 21. Like almost a million people!! Adele now holds the records for the largest amount of post-Grammy album sales.
Fun Fact!!! The album '21' is still holding onto the number one spot on the Billboard albums chart for........21 weeks straight!!!

Nick Cannon Hospitalized Again

Nick Cannon, who was just recently was released from the hospital after suffering minor kidney failure, was sent back to the hospital last week. This time Nick found out he was suffering from blood clots in the lungs and an enlarged ventricle in his heart. Cannon says that along with his previous issues with his kidneys, the blood clots formed because of his lifestyle of traveling a lot and spending a lot of time sitting in airplanes. Doctors say he needs to change his work schedule and start taking care of himself.

Bobby Brown Not Invited To Funeral

The announcement has been made that Whitney Houston's funeral will be this Saturday in New Jersey, and will be held in the church where Whitney used to sing as a child. The funeral service is going to help privately, which means by invite only. Guess who's not getting an invite? Ex-husband Bobby Brown. Family members of Whitney have spoken out saying they don't like him because he is the reason that she got hooked on doing drugs. Bobby made a statement that he wants to be there to support their daughter and show his respect to Whitney.

Adele's Voice Changed After Surgery

Well a good majority of us saw and heard Adele sing Sunday night at the Grammy awards.. yes she sounded amazing, but did you notice the difference in her voice? Adele says that as a result of the surgery and having the polyp removed, her voice changed and went up and octave. She says that she's ok with it cause she still sounds like herself, she was just surprised it went up and not deeper.
By the way.. Adele is working on a third album!

Sean 'Diddy' Combs Hospitalized

After a night of hosting a very exciting Grammy party at the Playboy Mansion, Diddy was taken to the hospital suffering from a severe migraine. He had been complaining about his head hurting but after the party the migraine escalated and made him concerned. Doctors treated him and sent him home.
I totally understand how awful migraines can be being I suffer from them myself... luckily he got his Playboy party in before it got too bad.

And The Grammy Goes To...

Last night was the highly anticipated Grammy Awards... and I say highly anticiapted because they really had a great line up of performers, especially the return of Adele. Which I must say, it was great to see Adele back and she definitely delivered... she did songs, Rollin in the Deep and Someone Like You.. both fantastic, and she looks amazing too.
Speaking of Adele she walked out of the there with a lot of hardware last night... taking home the Grammys for Record of the year, Album of the year, Song of the year, Pop solo performance of the year and Pop vocal album of the year.
Sure there was a lot of awards given out last night but I have to say that it is disappointing that the pop and country singers get the most recognition at these awards shows, there are so many other music genres that don't get enough acknowledgement, like for instance the rock category. Despite all that I must say congrats to the Foo Fighters for winning Rock song of the year, Rock album of the year and Rock performance of the year.

Whitney Houston...We Will Always Love You

On Saturday we were all struck by the shocking news of the passing of singer Whitney Houston. Yes she may have had her fair share of dirty laundry, it can't be denied that she was a powerful singer and a huge part of the 80's and 90's pop culture. I can remember when the movie "The Bodyguard" first came out and then when she did a cover of Dolly Partons "I Will Always Love You." I remember being torn as a fan of Dolly's to admit that I liked Whitneys version better.
It's a crazy thing being on the outside looking in on the life of a celebrity, we think it's gotta be so great... but with the passing of yet another- it's getting to be more clear that it might not being as easy and glamorous as we think.

Adele Finally Talks About Not Talking

It has been months since we have heard anything from Adele, that of course is due to her recent throat surgery. Adele suffered from polyps in her throat and herniated vocal chords. Coming up this Sunday before the highly anticipated Grammy Awards, 60 Minutes will air an interview with her.
Like Adele I have to admit that I share her addiction to using foul language, but for poor Adele when she was told she couldn't talk she was reduced to having to use a notepad to communicate. However that didn't satisfy her need to swear, so she got an app for her phone that spoke everything she typed.. including curse words. I love her dedication lol!

Lady Gaga Announces Tour

Another major concert announcement just happened.. Lady Gaga releasing some of the details for her upcoming Born This Way Ball Tour. The first part of her tour will start in Asia and Japan, then go to Australia. After that the tour will take her to Europe and Latin American and then finally she will start the North American leg. She will travel North America starting in 2013 going through March.
I would LOVE to see Lady Gaga in concert.... If I find out that she is coming anywhere near the area I will for sure pass that info along to you.

Madonna Announces Tour Dates

After lots of talk, Madonna has finally announced the details of her upcoming tour. Hitting the road to promote her new album M.D.N.A. will visit over 20 cities during her first tour in over 3 years. The first part of the tour will take her to Europe and the Middle East, then in August she will start the North American leg.

Yes, for all you Madonna fans she is coming to the area.... She'll be in Chicago on 9/19/12 and in St. Paul on 11/3/12. I would like to see Madonna in concert if it was 10 years ago... I really like her music up through the early 2000's after that... meh, no so much. What about you, are you will willing to travel to the twin cities or Chicago to see her?

Christina Brings The Divatude Back To 'The Voice'

Christina Aguilera is back for season 2 of The Voice, and she brought with her diva attitude. Christina is very conscious of her figure and always wants to look her best, but may be taking it too far and upsetting her co-judges. According to a source she will demand scenes to be re-shot because the camera caught her in an unflattering angle, and she has strong demands for her make-up artists, stylists and producers.

I think we all know that Christina is a great singer, and while she may not look the same as she did 15 years ago, she is still very talented. I do however disagree with re-shooting scenes for these kinds of shows, because they are supposed to be "reality". When your bad attitude gets in the way of your co-workers doing their job... that's a problem.

It's Tax Time!! Somebody Shoulda Reminded Sean Kingston

April 15th... a day that has been drilled into our head for the longest time... dreaded April 15th, tax day. With as much emphasis that is put into this deadline I find it unbelievable that celebrities can 'forget' to pay their taxes. Sean Kingston just got busted for owing back taxes from 2009. With as much money that these celebs makes, and with all the accountants and assistants they hire how it is possible somebody didn't say 'hey Sean, did you get your taxes done yet?' and what I think i really odd is that he only owes $131,000, yes that is insane to you and me.. but that's like what they earn for making one public appearance. I hate when famous people think they can get away with stuff like that.

'The Voice' Lashes Back at 'American Idol'

So this weekend was the premier of season 2 of The Voice... and the season has already started with controversy. Randy Jackson from American Idol apparently said that The Voice was a show for 'Second chance people'. Referring to some contestants that have already had one record contract but didn't make it big. Adam Levine showed his dislike for that while on the Ellen show on Friday. He defended the contestants and said in this industry sometimes you need two, three or four chances to get it right and there's nothing wrong with that.

Personally I think 'The Voice' is a better show than American Idol. I like the credibility and diversity of the coaches, and the way they select the contestants. I think American Idol has run its course and needs to go away. What do you think?

Madonna's Concert Tickets Go On Sale Sunday

She will be the center of attention this Sunday at the Superbowl. Madonna will be performing the half time show, but immediately following the end of the Superbowl tickets for her tour will go on sale. As of right now no tour dates have been announced, but her new song 'Give Me All Your Luvin' is available today on iTunes.

Britney Teams Up With Hasbro For Video Game

Britney Spears is jumping on the video game bandwagon... she has just teamed up with Hasbro for a new video dance game called 'Twister Dance. She tweeted that she was very excited about the game and her and her kids love to play it. Twister Dances mixes the game of Twister and video dancing. The game will feature a remix of Brits song 'Til the World Ends', it also will feature songs from Ke$ha and Willow Smith. Twister Dance will be available this fall.

Gaga Teases About Upcoming Tour

For the last week Lady Gaga has potentially been teasing us about an upcoming tour on Twitter and facebook. He latest post said that she was looking forward to this weekends Superbowl (she is a Giants fan) but says that she loves the comment that one of followers posted which said that Gaga should get drunk and announce the tour dates. Gaga's reply was "Am I that predictable?"

So maybe by this weekend we will have info on a new Lady Gaga tour.

Adeles Grammy Performance Confirmed

Well we've been waiting and now it is finally confirmed.... Adele will be making her first come-back performance at the Grammy Awards on Feb 12th! As well as performing, Adele is nominated for 6 Grammy Awards, including song, record and album of the year for her latest album 21.
In addition to Adele taking the stage we will also see performances from Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, Kelly Clarkson and Rihanna.
