The Loss Of Leslie Nielsen

Yesterday we lost one of the best known comedic actors, Leslie Nielsen. He passed away yesterday from complications of pneumonia, he was 84. Leslie was best known for his role as Detective Frank Drebin from the 'Naked Gun' movies. Leslie has been performing for over 50 years in great movies like The Poseidon Adventure, Airplane!, Dracula; Dead and Loving It and Spy Hard.

It is now the Holiday season at the White House, as the official Christmas tree was delivered today. The tree is an 18 1/2 foot Douglas fir that was raised on a tree farm in Pennsylvania. The Christmas tree farm was selected to provide the White House's tree by winning a contest. The First Lady and Daughters accepted the tree today and it will be decorated and placed in the Blue Room.

Super Bowl Halftime Act Announced

Well it was announced yesterday who this years act will be during the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. The Black Eyed Peas have the honor this year. Which is perfect timing for them as the Black Eyed Peas have a new album releasing on Tuesday called 'The Beginning'.
The Super Bowl is coming up on February 6th at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium.

Tylenol Recalls 9 Million Bottles

Johnson & Johnson has just announced they will be recalling 9 million bottles of Tylenol. The recall was put into motion when retailers noticed that the bottle wasn't labeled properly. There is no warning that a trace amount of alcohol was used in the flavoring. Less than 1% of alcohol is used in the flavoring product. Even though the alcohol is listed on the back of the bottle, retailers want it listed on the front. Click here for more info.

The date has been set on the huge event that the world will be watching next spring. The wedding date for Prince William and Kate Middleton has been set for April 29th 2011 and they have selected the Westminster Abbey as the ceremonies location. While it is not the same location that Williams parents Charles and Diana were wed, it does have a connection to his mom being that was the location of her funeral. Did They Find Natalee Holloway?

A new development in the disappearance of American Natalee Holloway is being tested right now. A human jaw bone was found on the beach near a resort in Aruba. Labs are testing it right now to see if it is the remains of Natalee. There was still a molar tooth attached to the jaw bone and they are going to compare it to her dental records. The bone was found on the beach next to the swamp that Joran Van der Sloot said he left her body. Joran Van der Sloot was the last person to see Natalee alive in 2005 and admitted to killing her then retracted his statement. He is currently in jail for the murder of a woman in Peru. He is doing this all while cruising at a mere 60 mph on a busy highway... He is sooo lucky he didn't kill anybody. The worlds tallest building is the Burj Kahlifa in Dubai, it also happens to be where filming was taking place for the new Mission Impossible movie. Tom Cruise is known for doing his own stunts even when it includes repelling down the side of the tallest building. Fined $1.5 Million For Song Downloads

Since 2006 this Minnesota mom has been in and out of court trials trying to sort out what her punishment should be for illegally downloading and sharing 24 songs off the Internet. Jammie Thomas-Rasset just found out that a jury determined that she should pay $1.5 million to Capital Records... that comes out to $62,500 per song!
I think enough is enough... there are alot more dangerous criminals out there to worry about. This woman is a Midwestern mom of 4 kids.... Like any of us she doesn't have a million dollars laying around, maybe she was wrong at the time for the songs.... but 4 years of sitting in a court room I think makes it about even. Cyrus Divorce Because Of Affair With Bret Michaels?

Last week Billy Ray Cyrus and wife of 17 years Tish announced they filed for divorce. New reports from US Weekly says that the real reason for the divorce is because Billy Ray found out the Tish cheated on him with at least 2 guys, one of which is rocker Bret Michaels. Michaels became tight with the family when him and Miley Cyrus teamed up for a duet. Since then rumors of a secret relationship between Tish and Bret have surfaced. Hiccups Return While 'Hiccup Girl' In Court

During her bond hearing today for the murder of a Florida man, 19 year old Jennifer Mee, AKA Hiccup Girl, got a case of the hiccups. Mee is accused for luring a 22 year old man into a building where her friends robbed him and then he was shot 4 times. During the testimony from the victims family member, Mee broke down and new case of the hiccups kicked in. On Friday the judge will determine if Mee can be released to her family until the trial. Courtney Speaks After Split From Arquette

The first time since they split and since the interview with Howard Stern, Courtney Cox talks about her relationship with David Arquette. Cox told TV Week that "I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced." She also reiterated that this was just a separation.
